Primary Research Area

My research seeks to understand how to improve substance use treatment outcomes by addressing stigma across the recovery care continuum. My current projects target the effects of stigma among veterans with OUD and chronic pain as well as stigma among justice-involved persons. Improving the lives of individuals seeking treatment while removing barriers to care fuels my desire to make an impact in the field.
